a short hello from Denmark

Well, I have lost track of time now. I think today is 22nd, I'm not sure. How long have I been away then?? As far as I know, I left the big boat on 9th September but in my head, I am still sailing. Everytime I open a drawer, or pulled the door open or runt the tap water, I feel giddy as if I am still on the boat. You got to believe me, I wasn't sick or anything like that. I did not throw up, I didn't complain at all. Just that I feel the whole time that the earth is moving under my feet, like an earthquake coming.

Anyway, we've been to Lalandia for 8 nights. I loved it there. Only thing that kind of spoilt my holiday there was the mosqiutoes. I have got the most mosquitoes bites on me ever!!! It's like millions of them all over my BUTT!!!! Ofcourse all over my body too but on the BUTT is like no area left to prick! I was so embarrass just to put on my swimming suit to have fun in the waterworld!

We drove away from that spot on Sunday and arrived at Patient Hotel Torshavn just in time for lunch. The next day Danial went to the eye specialist and nothin gmuch happen there. the doctor couldn't examine his eye as he is too active. She ask us to call her to examine Danial if he should by any chance go under general anaesthesia. I think that is almost going to be NEVER!!
She kind of asked me if I think whether Danial has improved or deteriorate. I don't know what to think to that but I informed her that I think his eyesight has improve as far as I can see. Only problem I see is that his squint has gotten worse. She said only way to cure that is an operation as she also agree with me that that has deteriorate. We'll think about it although we know the answer to that will be a straightforward no. Another appointment will be on next thursday and then we will get ready to come home.

I have done other things with my children during our trip here, fun things like visiting safari park, zoo, shopping trips, playtrips but I must tell you when I get back as I have too little time on the internet.


ps: I have finished knitting the sweaters for Danial while on the boat trip and yesterday I knitted one more for Hadi Johan. Now I am starting on another one for Jana Maria, a skirt this time.

one more to go

I've finished this last night before I went out to
meet "friends" from the new knitting club that
I've been invited to. This new group is much better
than the one that I had been as none of them smoke
or drink alcohol, like me. Anyway, as soon as I walked
into the house, I realized that I know more than half of them
as we all bring our children to the same sunday school or we all go to the same church meeting.

I have bought yarn to start on DÍ sweater next but that
will have to be while we are aboard the "Norrona" as I am busy packing now. Departure time is in 4hours.
This will have to be my last post for now. I will be back on 2nd october.
 

sweaters for HJ and JM

I started knitting this sweater lastnight,
hoping that I will get it finish in time before
their trip.
I am starting on the arm next.

I've just done it few minutes ago.
The 3rd and last picture is the sweater
that I have knitted for JM. I started on
it on saturday and finished
it yesterday, monday. She really liked it and wanted me to knit for her brothers as well. I really hope I can get it finished as I would love to knit one for Danial as well. It would be nice to see all of them wearing the same type of sweaters in group photos. Danial would have to be different colours ofcourse as I never use the same colour twice. You see, I get bored easily.
I still have to finished the dress that I started for JM back in April. I sort of put them aside now.



hmmmmmmmmm.........maybe I should knit one for myself? Maybe. Not sure yet. I am thinking to knit one for Amin and Hakim in Australia so they can use it in the australian winter. Must get Normala to give me her address. Normala is my best friend who lives in Unley in Australia now. She has two sons, aged 8mths and 2+years.

two more days

Jana Maria want to leave everyday since two months ago and finally! we have two more days left before we leave for Denmark.
I just received the letter from the hospital with our travel insurance and appointment time in the hospital in Denmark.
We just came back from renting the sattellite Navigation equipment. All our travel documents and legal documents are ready (and copied incase of loss). Travelling tickets are ready. Just the packing left.

I had been shoppping almost everyday now to topped up the medicine cupboard for my mother in law and as well for Danial's usage while in Denmark too.
I shopped for washing products, foodstuffs, handwrite schedule for my mother in-law's medications and routines. I even arranged with the homehelper for her daily meals and clothes washing. I don't see any loopholes anywhere except for they have to do some shopping for her from time to time for fresh breads and fresh milk.
