What a waste! It is so beautiful outside just now. The snow keep falling gently and everything is white all over. The air is still and fresh. It is beckoning me to come out and take a nice leisure stroll. How do I picture it for you. I miss my camera. Where is it? Why did I leave it hidden and forget where it is now. Oh dear oh dear oh dear....
I miss my digital camera because there are so many pictures that I want to post on my blog so that all of you can enjoy it with me but it is not to be...so it seems. Perhaps one day, my missing camera will come strolling by. Who knows.

That's the Nordic House (Norðurlandahusið).
I like to go for a cup of tea here in the summer with my husband. Well, I like to take my tea at home actually as no one served it the way I like but when I go out over here, there's not much choice. It's just 3 or 4 types of softdrinks, apple or orange juice or tea,coffee anc cocoa. So what would you choose?? Even the hotel has the same drink menu. I mean non-alcoholic menu as I do not like to drink anything with alcohol due to tremendous respect for my internal organs especially liver.

Home Sweet Home!!
Our plane safely landed at 2025hrs faroese time. The crew members actually didn't count on it. Everybody thought we all will have to detour to Norway or circle the air for many hours or have very rough ride but it was not to be so. God was with us. I am sitting at home typing this now just as I said I would this morning.

Was waiting for the doctor to call earlier regarding treatment plan for Danial. So I just finished talking to him now. He informed me that there is nothing else they could do for Danial. We just have to continue with the same medication and dosage despite the frequent seizures that Danial has since it is only a few seconds each time and Danial is not cooperative enough to undergo EEG procedure (they do not have the latest equipment in the world despite being Denmark and all, except maybe latest trend in sexual issues and antagonising the fragile muslim world with their free speech nonsense). I sidetracked...sorry.
Anyway, the doctor also told me the result of his MRI scan and cerebral angiography procedure. It was the same, no change at all which means no improvement seen so far thus the decision taken to not do anything more except continue with current medicine whether it is beneficial or not as they can see no changes in anything.
Well, we have booked a plane ticket yesterday for this evening flight so lucky us we can go home straightaway. Danial will be so relieved. It has been a trying time for him and really difficult for him to understand why he is here and why is it he cannot "go upstairs" to his room.
Well, I'll be sitting at home late tonight to give an update.

Science Center
Saturday and sunday are our free days. Luckily for me, the hotel has a bus that drives their guests anywhere they want on wednesday,friday, saturday and sunday. Other days could be arranged as desired.
Anyway, Jana Maria went to ScienceCenter "Experimentarium" on saturday while the boys laze around in the hotel. I heard later that they went for a short drive.
The trip to the Science Center brought memories back frommy primary school days. It was great! There were many things to experience and explore with Jana Maria. She learnt so much in just the 3hours we were there. It cost a bit but it was worth it!
What shall I do on sunday???

reporting from Denmark
Hello girls!!!
I am sure most of you who read my post are girls. I am not sure most mean many but by that I mean hopefully there are some who read and if not at least one or two or at least you sis???
anyway, here I am in Denmark with all my family here. We flew on thursday safely here with no "fussy complications" from the children. Hubby was really so proud of Danial and fed up with the younger two for acting up. I am simply proud of my children because despite my dizziness and breathlessness, they didn't upset me. Danial was exceptional. He has never before been this easy on the plane. Nobody what to expect from him but he shocked all of us. Except for the heavy nose bleeding. He tend to dig deep! On and off we rush to wipe his toy car, fingers and face as his fingers had strayed to his nose and cause bleeding. Hadi Johan was so weak, he did not eat anything and his fever return by the time we reach our hotel room in Copenhagen as the weather was icy-cold. Jana Maria just want things to happen all the time. Being 4 and all, she can't wait to grow up and travel by herself. She actually wanted us to leave her "alone or with someone as she want to have an adventure without any parent being there". No way!!! hubby and I miss her too much!
Well, this morning we've been to the dentist and we agreed that it is a simple job and the dentist will pull out the remaining tooth (one fell of on 5th feb and we are not sure if he swallowed it or pulled it but we are missing a tooth). I've told the dentist I would like them to save this one so I can keep it.
Now hubby is sleeping with groggy feverish Hadi Johan and Jana Maria is playing by herself in the playroom allowing me some time to update this blog. As for Danial, I reminded hubby not to lose him less he open the door and walk out of our hotel room.

Tupperware Party
My head is heavy, feel groggy and pain all over. Head shoulders knees and toes and all, pain everywhere! Yesterday I was feverish up to 40degree and no fever so far now but I am not going to cancel the tupperware party I had planned to hold tonight. This is the only night I can since Danial is in respite care otherwise it will be hopeless to have people over.
My main concern now is what if the guest don't turn up. Two of my guests were sisters and their mom died and funeral is today so there goes 2 guests down. One of them is their best friend so I guess she will not be making her appearance either. Left with the maybe list-3 of them and they still have not replied when I SMSed them last night to confirm if they will show up. I know there will be at least 4 definite people there.....the tupperware organiser, my brother-inlaw's girlfriend, my friend Lisette and me! How pathetic is that?
I've baked an orange cake coloured pink, walnut bombs and mareng for a creamy dessert yesterday even though I was feeling crappy and all.

try again
Well, I finally called the hospital today since there has been no contact from them since 2weeks ago. Got the bad news that they have received 27applications thus will not be employing me at the moment. But I am welcome to try again next time. Well, maybe I will since she sounded very nice on the phone. She started talking danish to me as soon as she heard my faltering faroese which is a disaster for me since I have to let her know that I do not understand spoken danish.
So I called the nursing school principal here to see if I can join the last year student nurses (not last year as in the past but the student who are in their last years of study right before they graduate) to refresh my education and that went well. She asked me to come down to talk to her with my documents and she'll figure something out.
I told her that I will make an appointment after 15th February as that's when our family will be back from Denmark.
You see Danial has an appointment with the dentist, opthalmologist and neurologist all at once. That will be fun to see how they can tame him to take an x-ray of his teeth without sedating him. He will be under general anæsthesia for the MRI scan and the eye specialist will examine his eye while he is sedated, and the dentist will pull out 2 of his lower front babyteeth. After this, I am not sure which day they choose to do a Video EEG for him to catch his epileptic seizures on film you see.
We planned that we will be there for 2days but now it end up a week. My hubby is not pleased about it but I am now. Wasn't before but I managed to switch my mind to accepting it and now I am looking forward to it. You see, my hubby is very house-trained when he is on holiday(ok, I now we are not on holiday but what else can we call not working?). He wash the clothes, fold and all. He vacuum cleaned the hotel room and see to it that the bedlinens are always changed. Isn't that great gals???
