Plaster cast to correct bad walking habit

Now look at my other poor son! He who do not understand between right and wrong as innocent as an infant (okay, sometimes he's happy only if his siblings are sad) has to go through today at the hospital. It was planned as under anaesthesia but someone somehow forgot to tell his parent, meaning us that he must be fasting before the procedure. How can I be sure since I asked everyone every single day before the procedure, what is it that they planned to do to my son today and what do I need to prepare. Somehow no one remember to mention this need and nobody know what it is the doctor plan to do when he has never met my son before today! Lucky for me the orthopedic is a very nice man whom I work with and I know for sure he knows what he's doing. So he came up to see my son first before he do anything and do not trust the pre-op checklist that apparently someone had done on my son in the absence of MY SON OR US! Anyway, hope this will work for now. Been spending time in the hospital since 10am till 6pm for this serial casting only to find out that they never figure out how is if going to walk after that. Plus maybe it might not work if Danial continue to walk on his toes again after we remove his cast in 3 weeks or more. I am on night shift tonight and has not got a wink yet. Taking a course of penicillin for my sinus infection and throat infection. It causing me diarrhoea. Going to be an interesting night! Really tiring sleepy interesting night!

My poor boy

He got hurt 2weeks ago and this is how it look like today. The child minder in the daycare said it was a big rock. He who usually laugh and tough it out, cried for 2hours until I came to bring him home. No broken bone so I didn't take him to the doctor.

Danial's debut video on blogger

I hope this work. My first attempt. I have waited a long time to post some video of my children on the blog but too naive as to how to go about doing it. Maybe now it will work.......here goes nothing!


Anyway, this shows a bit of Jana Maria's skin...sorry. My hubby using the word "tidur" as Danial was sleepy. Background noise of Hadi Johan(my youngest) before he master the english language and was so in love with his monkey so he keep saying peek-a-boo to everything as if speaking on h´behalf of his toy monkey that hangs around his neck.

Call me an ICU nurse. May know many things but when it come down to my own children and public health diseases, I'm clueless. What could this be? She's had chicken pox 2years ago along with me so cannot be that. What other? This appear all over her body and limbs, 3days after onset of sickness. Flu- like symptoms plus fever.

Home Sweet Home

This was on tuesday at 1430hrs GMT. We were approaching Torshavn. Our plane landed in Vagar airport, Faroe Islands on 2nd April 2008 and 1330hrs GMT. It was a very nice flight.

Something in Denmark

Well, this is a picture that was taken a month before we left to Denmark actually. One of the day when Dánial had to stay home with mommy as he had very high fever and mommy want him to be cuddled and pampered.

It is just that this time round in Denmark, we didn't take any photos so I decide to post this instead. I know I owe this blog many more but been real busy and too many other things to do.

I must say the stay in Copenhagen Island Hotel in Denmark on our last night was really nice. Dánial slept the longest he ever done with us. It was weird. Anyway, the food in that hotel was superb. So was the service and facilities. Right now, I am just waiting for them to mail Hadi Johan's cuddly plush lion that he accidentally left behind just before we leave the hotel room in a rush on tuesday morning. I didn't get to go collect my nursing authorisation certificate (I request a new one as the existing one spelled my name wrongly).

In Hotel Torshavn

Both Danial and Hadi Johan play quietly side by side. We do not have problem when the boys are together but throw in Jana Maria. Sibling war will breakout.
